My Journey

Born in 1978 in the lively district of Sonepat, Haryana, my journey began with the pursuit of academic excellence. Securing the first position in Nursery and KG in 1981 set the stage for my relentless pursuit of knowledge.

The year 1990 marked a pivotal moment as I barely managed to pass the admission test for the esteemed SDM Senior Secondary School. The subsequent years, from 1990 to 1993, were characterized by consistent top positions, earning me the roles of section topper and class monitor.

In 1994, I secured the third position in the commerce stream in class XI, setting the trajectory for my academic career. The journey continued with a first position in the commerce stream in college in 1995, accompanied by a scholarship from the state education board. Opting for Hindu College, Sonepat, I maintained my academic dominance from 1995 to 1998, securing the first rank in the university and earning a gold medal.

The years unfolded with diverse accomplishments - a diploma in Information System Audit in 2003, marriage in the same year, and the blessing of a baby girl named Rashi in 2004. Stepping into the partnership role in BK Shroff and Company in 2004 was both a professional and personal milestone.

My journey in the corporate world continued with a move to BC Jindal group in 2007. Climbing the corporate ladder, I was promoted to Accounts Head of the power company in 2008. The professional and personal spheres harmonized once again in 2009 with the birth of my son, Nikunj.

The trajectory of my career took an interesting turn in 2009 when I was promoted to Executive Assistant to the Chairman. This set the stage for my transition to TPV as CFO of India Operations in 2010.

2013 marked a profound personal loss with the passing of my mother. Undeterred, I joined BC Jindal group as Finance Controller, steering change management for overseas operations.

The professional crescendo was reached in 2016 with a promotion to lead and develop M&A strategy for the group. 2017 brought significant deals - the signing of the AFP Acquisition deal and the subsequent turnaround and exit from AFP.

The journey continued in 2019 with the signing of the Treofan acquisition deal. By 2020, I was overseeing India Operations and contributing to the core strategy team of BC Jindal group. The entrepreneurial spirit blossomed in 2021 with the establishment of my advisory firm, PRANV and Associates, specializing in strategic consultation for MSMEs and corporate houses.

In the same year, I embraced the role of an insolvency professional, marking another milestone. The year 2022 brought a new dimension as I became a registered valuer for SFA. The journey of lifelong learning persisted in 2023 with certifications as a forensic auditor, social auditor, and expertise in CSR and BRSR.

This autobiography chronicles my journey from a small town in Haryana to the heights of academic and professional achievement, encapsulating a life rich in experiences, challenges, and triumphs.
